24 stalks asparagus
12 slices boiled ham
fresh lemon juice
salt
pepper

PREPARATION
You can make this recipe in two ways; boiled or grilled.
Cut the hard back part of asparagus. Steam cook the asparagus, either with a special device or by using a saucepan and a steam basket. Put 2.5 cm of water (make sure water is not touching the basket) and cook the asparagus over high heat for approx. 8mins, until it softens but remains crispy. Lay 2 stalks of the same length on a slice of ham, roll and fasten with toothpicks. Repeat with remaining stalks and slices. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.
As an alternative, do all the above, but instead of steaming the asparagus, broil them for 15 minutes on high heat.
