From A Horrible To A Healthy Hangover
The healthy route to recovery!
It's the morning after and the only thought that gets you out of bed is that of a greasy pizza. A night out drinking leaves your body with a series of changes such as dehydration, low blood sugar levels and increased levels of the stress hormone-cortisol. This toxic combination is what leads your body to crave a carb-rich quick fix. The secret to a healthy recovery lies in the food you consume. Replace unhealthy meals with more TLC and nutritious foods, whilst avoid the junk-guilt you usually feel after succumbing to your cravings.
TIPS:
1. Replace coffee with fresh juice to restore blood sugar levels.
2. Eat a nutritious breakfast with eggs- they help remove toxins.
3. Snack on bananas and ginger tea- which are remedies for nausea.
Who knew a hangover could be healthy?
