A Little (Olive) Oil Goes A Long Way!

Olive oil is a great nutrients source and is highly recommended in both adult and children diets. It’s full of fatty acids and precious ingredients that provide health, wellness and longevity. All recent studies reveal that olive oil has great antioxidant activity as well as the ability to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
Olive oil decreases the levels of LDL cholesterol in the blood through the monounsaturated fatty acids that it contains, whilst preventing the oxidisation of LDL cholesterol from the antioxidants present in olive oil. Moreover, daily consumption of olive oil helps control cholesterol and acts against the hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis). The monounsaturated oleic acid of olive oil is highly resistant to oxidisation responsible for atherosclerosis, but it is also useful in the initiation of tumour treatment.
