INGREDIENTS
300g minced ground beef
100g lentils
1 tomato, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
parsley, chopped
fresh thyme
bay leaves
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt
pepper
water
PREPARATION
In a casserole pour 3 cups water and the lentils. Simmer about 1 hour. Warm the olive oil in a pan. Add the minced meat and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic, onion and tomato. Stir the mix for 3-4 minutes.

Add the lentils, thyme, bay leaves, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes. Sprinkle on top with parsley and serve hot.
